GPS For Puppies
New Dog Owners Take Collars Into the 21st Century
I can still remember the very first time I got my very own puppy. When I began searching for a dog I went to a bunch of local pet shops and searched through online resources such as Craigslist. However, the pet stores kind of creeped me out, seeing some puppies resting in a little cage in their own filth. I then decided to turn me search completely online. This allowed me to not only view information about the puppies I was looking at, but it also allowed me to get information on the breeder, the puppies parents and more. After about a month I found a cute little Yorkshire terrier and had him shipped to a local airport where I picked him up. I promised the little guy that day I would give him the best life possible, and so far I believe I have done so.
Many other dog parents probably feel the same way I do about my puppy in that they love their furry friend(s) like children, and with love comes an urge to protect. Unfortunately, many puppies are explorers and can get in all sorts of trouble. Puppy parents can be proactive by putting an invisible fence around their yard that will give a shock to a dog if they cross the perimeter, updating identification tags and keeping a watchful eye, but sometimes it is not enough and the young pup can get lost. With puppy parents everywhere looking for the latest and greatest ways to protect their pooch, many dog lovers are finding help in GPS trackers.
